Roof moss removal is critical to a long lasting roof. We’re the Northwest. We’re a mossy place. We like our moss. Sometimes, we make the mistake of embracing our mossiness in the wrong places though, or at least, avoiding the stuff on our roofs.
Moss is great on trees (although we can’t speak for the trees) and in nature, but it’s not so great for your roof. Moss happens to have a taste for roof shingles and can do some serious damage to cedar shake, comp and tile roofs.
